Making Medical Decisions with Uncertain Science
What is the best way to make medical and health policy choices in the face of uncertainty? That question was the focus of the Tradeoffs podcast last week, and a panel at Aspen Ideas: Health. Vardit Ravitsky and physicians Ishani Ganguli and Christine Yu Moutier spoke with journalist Dan Gorenstein about uncertainty as an unavoidable feature of medicine and science. They agreed that acknowledging what is known and not known is a key to experts building trust with the public. Listen to the podcast.
Ravitsky also participated in an Aspen Ideas: Health panel on navigating embryo screening. Watch the discussion.
