After a decade of pharmacology research at University of California, San Diego, he founded GraphPad Software. Hundreds of thousands of scientists now use GraphPad Prism to graph and analyze data and to better understand statistics.

He is the author of Intuitive Biostatistics: A Nonmathematical Guide to Statistical Thinking, now in its fourth edition, and serves as statistics editor for the journal Molecular Pharmacology.

He and his wife also support the ACLU’s democracy project, Ashesi University in Ghana, the Center for Science in the Public Interest, One Sky for all Children, and Nido de Esperanza.
