Big Question Series Moves to PBS
Throughout the year, The Hastings Center for Bioethics collaborated with the Museum of Science in Boston on five videos in the popular Big Question series featuring Hastings Center President Vardit Ravitsky in conversation with Hastings Center Fellow Insoo Hyun.
The videos are now being broadcast on PBS, beginning with an interview with Anthony Fauci, Are We on the Verge of Another Pandemic?
One of the videos – “What do embryos mean in our society considering that science gives us so many options today for building our families?” — featured journalist Anna Louis Sussman and was released with the launch of her three-part series in the New York Times on the topic. Sussman received the gold award for in-depth reporting in this year’s AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Awards for the New York Times series.
