Vivian Steinberger joined the Hastings Center as the senior accountant in May 2025.

She has more than a decade of experience in finance and accounting. Her background spans a range of financial operations, with a particular passion for mission-driven work. During her time at the Dominican Sisters of Hope, she discovered a deep appreciation for the nonprofit sector and the impact of values-based organizations. 

Originally from Brazil, Vivian moved to the United States in 2017. She holds an MBA in accounting and finance from the Washington University of Science and Technology, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dom Bosco University in Brazil, and an associate of arts from Bergen Community College. She believes that people are the most valuable part of any organization and is committed to supporting meaningful work through sound financial stewardship.
