Hastings President Calls on Bioethicists to Sign Letter to Flores Counsel

Hastings President Mildred Solomon applauds University of Pennsylvania bioethicists and other bioethics leaders for drafting a letter of historic importance, intended to assist lawyers representing immigrant children being abused and denied their basic human rights at the U.S. border. Their letter, intended for signature by bioethicists, speaks to the great wrongs the U.S. government is committing by its neglect and abuse of these children. Read the letter here, and if you are a bioethicist, consider signing it as soon as possible.  Signatures will be accepted until 2 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25, or earlier if court proceedings require.
