DESCRIPTION:The Center for the Study of Bioethics\, in partnership with The Hastings Center for Bioethics\, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Centre for Bioethics and The Master of Bioethics Program of Columbia University\, have jointly organized the conference “Existential Threats and Other Disasters: Novel (Bio)ethical Solutions for Novel Challenges.”  \n\n\n\nLearn more about the program and the speakers. \n\n\n\nAbout the organizers: \n\n\n\nThe Center for the Study of Bioethics (CSB) is a globally recognized research institute headquartered in Belgrade\, Serbia. \n\n\n\nThe Hastings Center for Bioethics was founded in 1969 and is one of the most respected and longstanding independent institutions devoted to bioethics research worldwide.  \n\n\n\nThe Centre for Bioethics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a leading hub for bioethical scholarship and community dialogue in Asia. \n\n\n\nThe Master of Bioethics Program at Columbia University offers a comprehensive graduate program that equips students to address the ethical\, legal\, and social implications of innovations in medicine\, biotechnology\, and public health. \n\n\n\nThe conference venue will be Reid Hall in Paris\, France.
