Ilene Sackler Lefcourt, Board Member
Ilene Sackler Lefcourt is the Founder and Director of the Sackler Lefcourt Center for Child Development. Established in 1982, the Center provides programs to parents and children birth to three years of age. Ms. Sackler Lefcourt is on the faculty at Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research Parent-Infant Program. Her publications are in the field of mother-infant psychotherapy and the early development of mental representations. Ms. Sackler Lefcourt is a member of the following Boards: The American Museum of Natural History, The Columbia University Department of Psychiatry Board of Advisors, The Hastings Center for Bioethics, The Margaret Mahler Psychiatric Research Foundation, The Rockefeller University Parents & Science Scientific Advisory Council and the Purdue Pharma Company, a family business.
