VISITING SCHOLARS PROGRAM

The Department of Health Law, Bioethics & Human Rights of Boston University School of Public Health offers scholars from outside Boston University an opportunity to further achieve professional goals. Scholars will be able to pursue a special course of study or research in order to complete a specific writing project in the area of health law or bioethics. Previous Visiting Scholars have been lawyers, doctors, professors, nurses, and associated healthcare professionals from: United States; Australia; Belgium; China; Israel; Japan; Norway; Portugal; Scotland and Spain

Our department offers to the Visiting Scholar a renowned faculty involved in: human rights and health; bioethics, patient rights; managed care; genetics; children; reproduction; human experimentation; mental health; refugee health; and medical and public health law.

Boston is a stimulating center of educational and medical resources for the scholar. In particular, the Visiting Scholar:
