All requests for permission to reprint or otherwise reproduce articles that have appeared in the Hastings Center Report are now handled by Wiley-Blackwell.
At the Wiley Online Library, you can obtain
permissions in two ways: either directly from the article itself by clicking “Request
Permissions,” or by visiting the Report’s permissions page. This page contains detailed instructions for requesting permissions
through Wiley’s RightsLink account.
RightsLink is an automated service of
the Copyright Clearance Center. If you
encounter problems with RightsLink or have questions about permissions
policies, please contact Wiley-Blackwell’s permissions department at email@example.com. Please
note that due to the volume of emails that Wiley’s permissions team receives,
their response time is about twenty working days.
All requests for permission to reprint or otherwise reproduce articles that have appeared in IRB: Ethics & Human Research and the Bioethics Forum are handled by the Copyright Clearance Center:
Authors who transfer copyright to The Hastings Center retain the right to reproduce and reprint their own work. However, authors must acknowledge the Center’s copyright ownership and, for the Hastings Center Report, Wiley-Blackwell as publisher. For details and more information on authors' permitted uses for work published in the Report, please refer to the copyright transfer agreement. For details on authors' permitted uses for work published in IRB, please refer to the assignment of copyright form, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
