Sarah McGraw, Ph.D
Sarah_McGrawSarah McGraw, Ph.D, is a research methodoligist. A medical anthropologist, she applies qualitative research methods to questions pertaining to public health and research ethics. Her work concerns informed consent in biobanking; end-of-life care; and health care for people with addictions, mental illness, and other chronic conditions. Among her current projects is a study of how decisions are made to determine which genetic results are appropriate for choosing treatment options for people with cancer. Another project is examining the dilemmas that researchers encounter when doing collaborative work and how these dilemmas affect the quality of the science.
